Cub Club
Cub Club is Concord Hill School's extended day program. We offer faculty supervised activities and care for students in all grade levels during the afternoons until 6:00 PM. Students will enjoy a combination of outdoor play, planned activities, and opportunities for further investigation and learning. Cub Club is led by Leila Rajabzadeh, Concord Hill’s Director of Auxiliary Programs.
Cub Club Registration for Spring 2026 is now closed.

How to Register for ASA
Step 1: Explore Offerings
- Check out what's available for your child's age group
- Note the days, times, and activity descriptions
Step 2: Register for ASAs
- Go to the registration link provided in each listing
- Follow the prompts to enroll in your selected class
- You'll receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete
- Note: Some classes fill quickly - register early!
Step 3: Determine Cub Club Needs
- Once you know your child's ASA schedule:
- Wrap-Around Care - needed after an ASA ends (e.g. 4:30 - 6pm)
- Stand-Alone Care - starts at school dismissal on days your child does not have an ASA (e.g. dismissal - 6pm)
- Then register with the Cub Club link above

Mondays
Creative Canvas with Mrs. Coulton
In Creative Canvas, artists will dive deeper into the world of art and design. Each week, we’ll explore new mediums such as watercolor, sculpture, and mixed media while discovering how artists from around the world express their ideas. Through hands-on projects inspired by well-known and contemporary artists, students will learn to observe, interpret, and create with confidence and creativity.

Nature Club with Ms. Marsh
Join Ms. Marsh as we sow the seeds of joy and wonder! Students will engage all of their senses as they investigate and explore the natural world. They will develop a sense of caring and connection to nature through hands-on activities such as seed starting, planting, harvesting, composting, journaling, and nature art.

High Sea Adventures with Imagination Stage
Ahoy, me mateys! Where shall we sail off to today? Maybe we’ll voyage to Mermaid Island with Pirate Pete or sail across the seven seas! Learn how to talk like a pirate, swim like a mermaid, and dive into the ocean as we develop our problem-solving skills and a keen eye for hidden treasure. Using our favorite pirate, mermaid, and ocean stories, students make connections between imaginative worlds and their own life experiences. Students bring stories to life – or even create their own stories and characters – using songs and dramatic play. Grab your telescope and get ready for an ocean adventure!

Concord Hill Singers with Ms. Wendt
Come sing with Ms. Wendt! Students will learn basic choral singing technique and musical vocabulary such as unison, melody, harmony, and more. Local performance at the end of the season.

Taekwondo with Flying Kick
We teach our classes with a little love and a lot of discipline; the students work hard, but training is fun! The whole basis of Taekwondo training is to have children learn this martial art and the basics in a fun, enjoyable way, this helps children channel their mental and physical energy in a positive manner.

American Sign Language Club with Sign Language Hub
Our American Sign Language enrichment class introduces ASL through visual, hands-on, and age-appropriate instruction that strengthens communication skills, vocabulary development, and social-emotional learning. Students learn through movement, songs, storytelling, interactive games, and structured practice in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

Builders & Makers Club with Growing Minds Therapy Center
Children engage in social-emotional learning, sensory exploration, and fine and gross motor development through playful, hands-on building experiences. Each week, students collaborate to plan, build, and even demolish creative structures while practicing problem-solving, turn-taking, communication, and frustration tolerance. Offered in partnership with Concord Hill School and Growing Minds Therapy Center, this Social Emotional Early Development (SEED) after-school class is led by Early Childhood Specialists and focuses on friendship skills, growth mindset, and confidence-building through guided play.

Tumbling & Ninja Club with My Gym
Our young Gymnasts develop strength, flexibility and agility as our teachers coach the kids through warmups, relays, conditioning exercises, basic gymnastics skills and obstacle courses. My Gym teachers use positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions while kids learn tumbling and ninja skills. We also make class fun with games and relays all designed to enhance physical and social-emotional development.

Chess Club with Silver Knights Chess Academy
We teach more than 4,000 children each week. State and national champions have come from our programs, but most of our students are just looking to have fun! Class time is split between lesson and play. Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the children. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.

Ballet, Tap & Jazz Dance class with Tippi Toes
We incorporate a mix of the three types of dance during class time using high-energy music. Students learn choreography to multiple dances throughout the year and get to show off their moves at recital time!
