Job Description
Are you passionate about early childhood development and caregiver engagement? Concord Hill School is seeking a warm, knowledgeable, and creative educator to lead a two-day-per-week program for toddlers and their caregivers. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of play in early learning and can also provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers as they navigate their child’s development.
What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate engaging, play-based experiences for toddlers that promote curiosity, social-emotional growth, and early learning.
- Support and guide parents and caregivers in fostering their child’s development, serving as a resource for strategies, activities, and age-appropriate expectations.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where families feel supported and connected.
- Provide insights and conversation starters to help caregivers become their child’s first teacher at home.
- Set up and organize materials to ensure a smooth and engaging program experience.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
- Passionate about play-based learning and its role in early development.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions and providing gentle guidance to parents and caregivers.
- Creative, patient, and able to adapt to the needs of young children and their families.
- A team player who enjoys working in a community-driven environment.
The Details:
- This is a part-time role, two mornings per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 8:00 – 12:00 at Concord Hill School.
- This position pays $6000 annually (September-May)
