The Spanish program is designed to broaden our students’ world views and enhance their curiosity about Spanish speaking countries. We develop students’ speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills with an appropriate curriculum based on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages standards. Students are immersed during instruction time, engaging in songs, games, activities, and hands-on projects. The classes are taught almost exclusively in Spanish. Preprimary students have the opportunity to participate in Spanish lessons once per week and continue twice per week through Third Grade with age-appropriate themes and activities.
