2010 Summer Camp

Concord Hill Camp is a nurturing, fun-filled, and hands-on experience for three-, four-, and five-year-old children.

Our summer camp program is directed and taught by Concord Hill preschool teachers. The weekly camp sessions are held starting on June 21st through July 30th, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Your child will enjoy a wonderful program geared for preschoolers. Weekly themes provide opportunities for learning and exploration. Topics may include Wild, Wild West, Under the Sea, and Aloha Hawaii!

Fun activities include:

  • Creative arts and crafts projects
  • Cool, wet and wild water play
  • Trikes, scooters, parachutes, rock climbing walls,
    and sand play
  • Educational games, toys, and puzzles
  • Hands-on cooking creations
  • Songs and finger plays
  • Dramatic play adventures with new and old friends
  • Quiet, cozy times, and stories

Children are placed in two age-appropriate groups. The “Minnows” are for three-year-old children, and the “Dolphins” are for four- and five-year-old children. Activities are planned for each age group, as well as fun times playing together outside. Camp provides a daily snack and juice. Children bring their own food and drinks to enjoy lunch together. Children must be toilet trained.
